FEED-APP was produced by the University of Sassari, is a product from University of Sassari, Desertification Research Centre, in partnership with WeWorld- GVC and the Palestinian National Agricultural Research Center, in the context of"Beyond the barriers"

project coordinated by Oxfam in 2018-2022 and funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS).

The main objective of the app is to provide farmers and practitioners with a decision support tool on how to optimize the sheep diet composition starting from a list of feeds available in the Palestine local market.

The app also provides a shortlist of forage species suitable for local conditions based on inputs about site-specific climatic and soil characteristics.
